Latest Version of Windows 8 Designed for Security

How many times have you ever been at the local coffee shop, or even a Washington DC conference center, and stressed over the security of the Wi-Fi connection? While there may not be much you can do about improving security for public internet access points, you can protect your wireless devices from being breached.

We all know about popular anti-virus software, but not everyone purchases it or maintains a subscription. And while this may be a fool-hardy approach to online access, it does not negate the fact that thousands of internet users are victims of malicious programs every month.

There has to be a better solution to online protection than having to purchase and install additional software. Indeed, Microsoft has found one.

Introducing the New Windows 8

Every few years, we expect the newest, latest version of Windows to roll out, anxious to see what changes and improvements have been made. This latest upgrade to Windows 8 should have virtually everyone excited. Well, everyone, that is, except hackers, scammers and identity thieves.

Microsoft understood so many computer problems could be averted if only everyone had access to a dependable, up-to-date antivirus. And so, the programmers of Windows 8 did something that’s unheard of in this industry: that gave you one.

Yes, you read that right. Now, any purchase you make of the new Windows will come preloaded with an antivirus. Of course, you can still use your favorite software if you prefer, but you will be protected should your program crash, expire or otherwise go offline.

This isn’t your average, generic, run-of-the-mill antivirus either. We’re talking about a full-scale wall of security that will make it more difficult than ever for hackers to get into your computers most vital files and information.

Does the New Windows 8 Offer Fail-Proof Protection?

There’s really no such thing as a hack-proof program. Even the most innovative and expensive firewalls can be hacked if someone with the skills and patience to do it is set on the idea. But the new security for Windows certainly doesn’t make it easy for that to happen. The program protects your system by randomizing the codes and memory that hackers rely on to breach your computer.

In short, there is no way for someone to write a program or command to bypass you system’s protection because there is no way to predict when the code that has to be overridden will occur. The sophisticated algorithms of this new security make current security techniques look like child’s play.

Of course, it would be foolish to believe there aren’t any vulnerable areas at all. Where those areas are, however, isn’t something that malicious users are going to be figuring out any time in the near future. If they really want to hack your system, they’re going to have to work for it.
