Best Online Freelancing websites for Freelancers in India
Hello there this is a very personal post, i am writing a blog post after years here and i would like to frankly write a post with due experiences, once again my whatever that i will be writing here will be my personal opinion.
There are a lot of Freelance jobs that are available worldwide, India is one of the biggest industry that has highest number of Freelance job takers online as it is an easy way to make some extra dollars sitting at your home. All you need is a proper functioning wifi and all the skills required.
A little tip for my reads, when freelancing choose the best website that has showcases transparency in terms of pay and also chose the right site that offers the perfect niche.
1.Elance
Elance would be the most reliable and trustworthy website that offers a lot of Freelance jobs for designers, content writers, programmers and a many other. Elance has a wide number of category to choose from. i have been using Elance since a while and i feel it is very user friendly interms of the clean website design, payment options, security and the best part is you have many freelance jobs, but make sure you choose the right niche. For a newcomer Elance will be a slow place to start your business, but i am sure once you get started you will be busy. You can check out the membership plans from here
2.oDesk
I was a little frustrated with this website as my profile was taking ages to get activated, odesk itself is a part of Elance and it is also one great website for freelancers to find job. They have a clean interface, but unlike Elance where you submit proposals for a freelance job, here on odesk you have to bid, i find this system a little crazy as there is no individuality or the work is not offered according to skill you have.
3.Guru
Guru also is a good website to find jobs online, but there are less number of jobs that are posted since there is ample competition among freelancers on Elance and oDesk. But worth a try.
4.Peopleperhour
This is one website that will make you go crazy, it is crowded with a lot of work. One should create an account and the website links you to facebook account and makes things pretty hectic. You can also create something called Hourlies, which is something like the best service you are offering for example-i will design a logo for 5$.
There are other websites like freelancers, 99designs, i would like people who are reading this post to comment below their experiences or any review of Online freelancing websites
(P.S: Comments will be included in this post)
