Bing: Bing, launched by Microsoft with the aim to challenge Google and Yahoo! . Microsoft termed it as a ‘Decision Engine’, the search engine would help customers to make better decision. Bing basically focuses on four key areas: making a purchase decision, planning a trip, researching a health condition or finding a local business.



WolframAlpha: A search engine, which many experts predict could revolutionize the way information, is used on internet. WolframAlpha uses sophisticated algorithms to attempt to understand user questions, and then uses the resources, which are stored in its database to offer relevant information. WolframAlpha displays information using artificial intelligence and provides numerous options for user to dig deeper into the subject.




KOSMIX: Kosmix is a Silicon Valley startup. It has a “categorization engine” at its core and explores the relationship between topics.





CUIL: CUIL that searches for and ranks a page according to their content and relevance, CUIL is claimed to have many more indexed pages than Google.

    Bing is extremely fussy when it comes to backlinks. Bing wants to see backlinks that are spread across different domain names, owners and unique IPs (c-class or greater).
