2014 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S unveiled, comes redesigned !!
The new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S has been unveiled with
major redesigns and adding a lot of features to present a superb car and
replacing its predecessor the outgoing V12 Vantage and making the fasted road
going Aston.
The new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S comes with a completely
sporty redesign with a floating front revealing a new Aston Martin design
language. Talking about the front grille which is wider has been replaced by carbon-fire
frame with a silver finish than its earlier aluminum vanes seen on V12. A new
10-spoke lightweight alloy wheels has also been spotted. Black-painted roof and
boot panels.
Vantage S comes with a 6.0 litre v12 codenamed AM28
integrated with a new Bosh engine management system to improve performance and
provides 565bhp of power, 457lb ft. of torque and a top speed of 205 mph,
capable of taking off from 0-62mph in less than 4.0 sec.
The vantage S comes with a 7 speed sportshift III AMT manual
gearbox (hydraulically actuated automated manual transmission). Another notable
feature is the three-stage adaptive damping system, the new electronic power steering
and dash mounted button the three stage
adaptive damping system can be selected to –Normal, Sport and Track modes,
which alters the throttle, gearshift speed and timing.
Other features include Brembo-supplied carbon-ceramic brakes,
Dynamic Stability Control system, hydraulically actuated manual shifts via
paddle shifters. The new Vantage S also gets a CNC machined combustion chamber
and an exhaust which is smaller and sporty. Interior of the Vantage S packs a 2
leather graded seats and an optional carbon interior pack.
The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S is expected to hit the market by end of this year at a price tag of £138,000.
