World’s Thinnest tablet –Xperia Tablet Z announced by Sony: Pre-orders kicks in


Sony has announced the Xperia Z Tablet which was unveiled earlier this year. Sony Xperia Tablet is a 10.1 inch Android Tablet and claiming to the words thinnest at 6.9mm thick and weighing around 500 grams.

Display
The Sony Xpera Z tablets delivers the best viewing experience with Reality HD display .Xperia Tablet has brought its revolutionary screen technology to the best viewing experience on a tablet combined with Mobile BRAVIA Engine2 delivers real time contrast enhancement, high quality color management and noise reduction.
The Z tablet also features Sony’s unique Movie’s app, giving true cinema-like experience. The Movie’s app automatically downloads movies and one can enjoy watching them in high quality and also listening to your favorite music in 3D surround experience. The front panel of Xperia tablet is made of durable tempered glass with anti-shatter film.

Design
The Design language of the Xeria tablet Z follows the revolutionary “Omni Balance” which according to Sony expresses a balnce between technology and design. The Xperia Tablet Z is super slim and light with 6.9mm of thickness and weighing 500gram. Xperia tablet Z exterior design is enhanced by rounded edges and smooth reflective surfaces. The Xperia Tablet is water resistant upto 1 metre and resistant towards water jets and is also Dust resistant.

  1. I love how they moved the nav buttons and notifications back to where they were before 4.2: to the left and right sides of the bottom bar. It makes so much more sense than having nav be centered on the bottom and having notifications on the top on a 10inch tablet.
