Samsung Galaxy S4 vs iphone 5 detailed specs review

Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5 has been the biggest and the most spoken smartphone across the globe. With varied features and advertisements of the smartphones flowing out in the internet it’s a tough decision to erhaps choose the best among the both.
Now let us look into what primary specification does Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5 have for us

Display
Galaxy S4 has a screen resolution size of 4.9 inch Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels with 441ppi, whereas the iPhone 5 has a 4 inch IPS screen with 640x1136pixels. 0.9 inch extra for Galaxy S4 does that matter?

Memory
The Galaxy S4 baseline model has a 16GB of memory, while the higher end has a capacity of 64GB of memory and 2GB of RAM with micro SD slot. The iPhone 5 baseline model carries 16GB, while 32GB and 64GB are also available which are non-expandable. The iphone5 comes with 1GB of RAM. Seems Galaxy S4 wins here with an extra GB to add.

Camera
The Galaxy s4 has a 13 megapixel sensor-rear camera and 2MP front camera, while the iPhone5 has an 8 MP of camera at rear end and 1.2 megapixel front camera. Both the Galaxy s4 and iPhone can capture video at 1080p. Again Galaxy S4 wins the race.
Battery
The Galaxy s4 is packed with a 2,600mAh battery. Iphone 5 on the other end has a 1,440mAh. I’m guessing Galaxy s4 has done a pretty good job here.

Processor
Samsung Galaxy S4 comes with a Qualcomm Snap dragon Fusion Processor (1.9GHz quad core processor). The iphone 5 is equipped with Apple’s A6 dual core 1.2 GHz.

Dimension
The s4 is 7.7 mm thick and has a plastic body at the back weighing about 4.59 ounces, whereas the iphone 5 includes an aluminum body and is 7.6mm thick and weighs 3.96 ounces.

Operating System
Samsung Galaxy s4 runs on Android 4.2.3 Touch wiz while iPhone runs on iOS 6.1
