Acer Iconia A1 vs Nexus7 battle

Acer is all set to compete with the global Android market with the recent release of its new tablet, which would give the big heads of the tablet market like Apple’s Ipad Mini and the Nexus series from Google, a real headache.

Acer recently announced Iconia A1, a 7.9inch budget tablet. The device comes with an amazing screen quality, with 1024x768 pixel resolutions, a quad core Media Tek processor and is available in two variants the 8GB and 16GB, with 1GB of RAM. The Acer Iconia A1 features a front facing camera and a rear camera with 0.3 MP and 5MP respectively.

The Nexus 7 is a thin, light and portable 7inch tablet that is built by Asus for Google. Google Nexus 7 comes with NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor, which makes it absolutely fast to give best gaming and web experience a real delight. Nexus 7 was designed with gaming in mind and capable of running multiple apps. Nexus 7 features a vibrant 1280x800 resolution display and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The device has a 32 GB of storage and gives a good backup.

Some interesting feature added to Acer Iconia A1 is the “Touch”. The tablet when switched off is capable of starting; it automatically allows opening any  apps with a press of five fingers. While the Nexus 7 is featured with Gesture Typing-one could compose emails or text in a swap, which when compared to Acer Iconia is not very interesting when Tablets with touch facility would offer.
